Lismore Rugby Club coach Ray Taylor labelled the bottom of the Far North Coast Rugby Union competition ladder home clash with Bangalow their very own Grand Final.
When asked how he felt after seeing his side win 28-10 to stay off the foot of the ladder and also earn a bonus point, he replied "bloody fantastic".
Cody Johnston played all but 10 minutes of the Reserve Grade match and was thrown onto the wing with Perry Daly ruled out.

"It was tight early but once we stopped slugging it out with their pack and moved it out wide, we realised we had the edge in the backs," said Taylor.
"I think the final 20 minutes of the first half gave us all the confidence we needed. We were stuck in our 22 and we kept on repelling them, defending very well and they did not get over.
"The more points we scored the more confidence the players had. I thought Banaglow played a lot better than previously and it was a good game.
"They scored a try at the death but we were the deserved winners."
Gus MacDougall had a sensational return to the side after injury and James Grubb had an excellent game in the centres. Stuart Rose, playing First Grade for the first time since 2016, also did admirably.

MacDougall was the Players Player of the Match and earned three points, with James Grubb two and Willie Fairweather one point.
Taylor praised the work of the young referee James McElligott.
