It took five attempts but the Lismore Rugby Club finally awarded the 2021 Season Trophies this week.

The Presentation Night was twice postponed due to COVID restrictions and then twice when the catastrophic floods hit the town.

Club President Peter Everingham was happy with where the club is heading.

"Against all issues over the last 2-3 years, we are still going strong and lot's of great things are happening."

"We have had Jack Taylor and Zac Byrne make U/18 Representative teams, three players selected in the FNC team, seven women selected in the first ever FNC Women's 15's Representative side and a number of our juniors making development squads across NSW and Queensland."

"We also have to thank all of our sponsors who helped us during the floods and were pivotal in rebuilding post floods, your loyalty is appreciated."

"It works both ways, we were able to help a lot of our sponsors clean and rebuild their businesses as well."

The 2021 Major Awards recipients were:

Men's Player of the Year - Tyler Coveney

Women's Player of the Year - Sabrina Lisetto

Golden Boot Winner - Perry Davy (41) and Lilly Patston (70)

Club Person of the Year - Bec Austin and Peter Everingham

The Club has a Bye this weekend in First Grade.
