Lismore City Council have warned residents that the Lismore Recycling and Recovery Centre will be temporarily closed on Thursday, 28 March, prior to the Easter long weekend.

The closure is necessary to carry out essential and long-overdue maintenance works that will enhance the overall safety and functionality of the facility.

We understand the inconvenience this closure may cause, but these measures are crucial to ensure the well-being of both our staff and visitors.

During this closure, kerbside collection will continue to operate as normal. The Nimbin Transfer Station will remain open on Thursday, 28 March.

The Lismore Recycling and Recovery Centre will reopen on Tuesday, 2 April, after the Easter long weekend.
