A Lismore man was arrested in Nimbin and charged with stealing from the Rural Fire Service (RFS).
Nimbin police will allege that on Thursday last week, a 27 year old Lismore man attended a Nimbin store.
“Inside the store there was a cash collection point for the Nimbin RFS Brigade,” a Richmond District Police Facebook statement said.
“The 27 year old took a sum of money from the collection tin and put $5 in.
“On Friday, Nimbin police arrested the 27 year old at Nimbin.
“He was charged with Larceny and will appear at Lismore Local Court in January.”
