Lismore make changes for Bulls clash

Lismore has made a number of changes to its side to take on the Casino Bulls in Casino on Saturday.

The Lismore side has tasted a heavy defeat to Wollongbar in Round 1 and had an improved performance against Ballina last week, going down 38-19.

Gavin Tulk moves into the starting front row and Angus McDougall slips into the Number 8 jersey, two additions that will firm up the forward pack.

Cameron Bryant has been named at hooker, taking over from Tait Bailey.

Coach Cody Johnston will captain the side and play his first game of the year at halfback and will be partnered at 10 by Joey Davis, who moves closer to the action.

Both sides will be looking for their first win of the season after Casino have had two heavy losses at the hands of Casuarina and Byron Shire in the first two rounds.

First Grade will kick off in Casino at 3:30pm with Reserve Grade scheduled for 2:10pm.

The Colts match between Lismore and Lennox will be played at Maurie Ryan Oval at Southern Cross University at 12:15pm prior to the the SCU Gold Rats match against Lennox Head in Presidents Cup. The Women's 10's side travel to Mallanganee to take on Range at 12:30pm.

In the match of the round, Byron Shire will host Casuarina at Schultz Oval, Bangalow.
