The Lismore Lions Club are expected to have a new custom BBQ trailer in the next couple of months thanks to the Lismore Workers Club and State Government.

Lismore Lions Club president Doug Fraser (pictured left) said the club was successful in obtaining funding under the Lismore Workers Club's Club Grants Scheme.

“We received part funding from the Lismore Workers Club's Club Grant Scheme and part funding from a NSW Government Grant,” Mr Fraser told the Lismore App.

“Total monies received has allowed us to have a new BBQ trailer built which hopefully will be completed within the next six to eight weeks.

“Funds will also be utilized to purchase equipment for the Trailer.

“Lismore Lions is the foundation Club of Lions in Australia and the new trailer will help us service the needs of the people of Lismore.

“A big thank you to the Lismore Workers Club.”
