Lismore have left the best till last, with a win over Casuarina in their final match of the 2022 season.



Having pushed Wollongbar and Bangalow in recent matches, everything fell into place in the final game of the season.


After trailing 26-16 at halftime, the Greens clicked into gear in the second half, scoring 21 points to nil to take a 37-26 victory.


Barnstorming Number 8 Xavier Sapolo crossed twice and Man of the Match Jack Taylor compiled a personal tally of 17 points in the win.


In other matches, the Women's 10's side took a 24-5 victory over Casuarina to move into second spot with just a catch up game remaining until Finals. This also moves Lismore (39pt) within one point of Richmond Range (40pt) on the ladder.

Reserve Grade went down 36-12 and the Colts lead Casuarina 14-12 at halftime before being rundown 24-14 by the visitors.


The results leave the Women's 10's and Colts in Semi Finals, with final positions up for grabs next Saturday in the final round of catch up matches.
