Lismore Cycling Classic rolls into town

The Lismore Cycling Classic rolls into town this weekend and it is building to be the biggest event to date.



 The Northern Rivers Cycling Club, in cooperation with Lismore City Council, is hosting the event that covers everything cycling.

It will be an action-packed weekend that has something for everyone.


There will be not only the various cycling events but also delicious food stalls, a cycling market, plenty of information and advice, so whether you're a seasoned pro or a casual rider, there's plenty of fun to be had.


The action all kicks off on Saturday with a twilight criterium through the streets of Lismore, which is a great way for spectators to see the action.



Registration opens at 12:00pm with the Race Briefing and Marshalling from 3:45pm.


Entry Fees for the Saturday Criterium are $40 for adults and $30 for juniors under 18 years.


Sunday is a big day for organisers, with something for all skill levels.


 

The distances for the Sunday rides are the leisurely Piccolo Fondo (25km), the "middle distance" and scenic Medio Fondo (70km) and the challenge of the Gran Fondo (110km).


Each route offers stunning views of the Northern Rivers region, from lush green landscapes to charming local sights.

Marshalling and Late entry closes at 6:30am Sunday morning, with the briefing at 6:45am, at which time you should be ready to head off on your adventure.
