The Lismore Colts side have added another victory to their season after a narrow 12-5 win over Wollongbar/Alstonville on Saturday.

Having to travel to Byron Bay for the match due to the nature of the FNC Rugby Union draw, the side started well before heavy rain struck and made the match a tight encounter.

Lismore crossed the try line after 15 minutes to take an early 7-0 lead after Braeden Williams converted and it was winger Loui Rubbo who put the game beyond doubt sealing the win for the Greens.

The 7 point win puts Lismore in second place on the Colts ladder with 7 wins and 1 loss for the season with just one round remaining when they host third placed Casuarina at the Lismore Rugby Park next Saturday.

In First Grade Ballina were dominant in the first half setting the platform for a comfortable 32-5 lead at the break before running out 44-15 victors. Fullback Perry Daly, winger Jake Henry and half Scott Lancaster crossed for the home team.
