Lismore Base Hospital staff in hilarious musical GitUp challenge

Take a bow Lismore Base Hospital staff. They took the time during what has been an extremely busy period in their lives to record and release their version of the GitUp Challenge.

What an incredible result it was, the most fun any business would have had over the last three months.

So, what is the GitUp Challenge?

The GitUp song was released by Blanco Brown last year and started a worldwide fad of people re-enacting his dance. You can watch it here.

The initiative was the brainchild of the Nursing and Midwifery Managers to raise morale and to celebrate International Year of Nurse and Midwife. Charmaine Murphy has done a marvellous job with the filming and editing of the video.

Take a look at some of the still shots from the video, then push on the link and take a look at the full version via the Northern NSW Health Local Health District facebook page.

The Lismore would like to set every business to take the GitUp Challenge, it is a great deal of fun in what has been a serious and tense time in the last 3 months. You don't need to make the entire 3:31 of the GitUp song, you can do a verse and chorus depending on how many staff you have.

Once you record your GitUp dance send it through to simon@lismoreapp.com.au.
