I reference your article on the issue of feral cats causing wildlife decimation (NRJO advocates for making control of roaming pet cats manageable for NSW councils).
My view is that humans who seriously take on the responsibility of housing & owning a cat need to take complete responsibility for that animal throughout its life, not only when it is a cutesy fluffy kitten.
Too many feral cats have come about through animals being dumped when their novelty has worn off & everything required to care for & love them simply becomes "too bothersome" and at times expensive.
If you take on a pet, be it cat or dog (yep, there ARE feral dogs as well) please accept and live up to the responsibility this ownership entails.
