The 'All-In-The-Same-Boat Barefoot Bowls Challenge' at the Lismore City Bowling Club is proving to be a smash hit with a great turnout last week of local businesses having a few drinks, a few laughs and some not-too-serious lawn bowls.
Organiser, bar manager and volunteer Sharon Pepper said it was so good to see people smiling, laughing and having fun, "This is what the challenge was all about. This time of year is tough for many business owners that got smashed in the floods last year and we wanted to get as many here as we could to have fun and celebrate how far we've come."
Teams from Two Mates Brewing, Frizelles, Diamond Service Centre, Kemp Agency, Betta Electrical, Nurses and, of course, the Lismore App plus more all enjoyed the Barefoot Bowls Challenge II.
For the record, the Lismore App team played Diamond Service Centre and came away with the win, however, Narelle and the boys took away the prize in the clubhouse.

The third and final challenge is this Wednesday (February 22) evening between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
The cost is only $10 per team of four bowlers with a free sausage sizzle and great prizes drawn each week whether you win or lose your bowls match.
To register a team call Sharon on 0416 282 247.
The Lismore City Bowlo is located on Molesworth Street, next to the Memorial Baths and behind the Historical Society.
