The Darrel Chapman Fun Run, a beloved and well-supported event held in Lismore for the past 30 years, is happening this Sunday, 25 August, starting at Woodlark Street.

Sponsored by NAB, this event attracts keen runners, walkers and families who come together to raise funds for Our Kids and celebrate the Lismore community.

With over 800 participants already registered and more expected on the day, this year’s run promises to be the biggest yet.

If you haven't booked your spot, don't worry, you can register on the day. The registration desk opens from 6:15am Sunday morning.

The day kicks off at 7am with the Lord's Taverners 10km run and the Lismore Masters Half Marathon.

The family friendly Terania Consulting 4k walk and run will begin at 9am.

Funds raised from the event will go towards purchasing breast milk warmers for the Special Care Nursery and Children’s Ward in Lismore, as well as a humidicrib.
