Kyogle caravan park re-opens

The Kyogle Gardens Caravan Park will re-open on Friday (14 November) following a significant $1.8 million upgrade.

The renovated caravan park now features:

  • 27 powered sites and 10 unpowered sites
  • A modern amenities building with hot showers, toilets (including an accessible toilet), and laundry facilities
  • Sealed internal roads for improved access
  • Upgraded lighting and drainage
  • A dump point for waste disposal
  • Landscaping, including a corridor of native flora

Visitors will also benefit from a new online booking system, available via the Visit Kyogle website (https://www.visitkyogle.com.au/accommodation/kyogle-gardens-caravan-park/)

Kyogle Mayor Cr Danielle Mulholland welcomed the re-opening of the caravan park, saying it was an important facility which supported both tourism and the local economy.

"The Kyogle Local Government Area (LGA) is known for its natural beauty and country hospitality, and the new-look caravan park will make it even easier for travellers to enjoy everything our area has to offer," Cr Mulholland said.

“Tourism is a vital part of our local economy, and the improved facilities and convenience of the upgraded caravan park will help attract more visitors who will be inclined to stay longer in our area. This in turn will support local businesses and jobs."

The $1.8 million project was jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments through the Department of Regional NSW.
