Lismore Rugby Club can't take a trick.
No sooner does coach Ray Taylor's face light up with the news that promising teenage forward Dylan Tulk is back for the first time since Round 2, does he learn that two of his important players are in extremely doubtful for the home match against Far North Coast Rugby Union's unbeaten leaders Casuarina Beach tomorrow afternoon.
Captain Brendan Williams and Number 8 Gus MacDougall will both be given until the very last seconds to see if they can take the field.

"Brendan's knee is bad and not getting better and Gus has a dislocated finger. It is not looking too good but we still have hope," Taylor told the Lismore App.

"He said to me last week it was more painful to watch than it would be to play, so he's back. I have put him in the centres as James Everingham played so well at scrum half and Willie Fairweather is the five-eighth. We had pencilled in James for the scrum half role for the season before his operation," Taylor said.
Long-serving club member Nathan Carbery returns as hooker for tomorrow's match.
Casuarina Beach have won six from six and may decide to use tomorrow's match as a warm up for the blockbuster with the competition's other unbeaten side, the five times back-to-back premiers Wollongbar Alstonville next Saturday.
"They have recruited well and look strong across the 15. We will have our work cut out and need to be focused for the entire 80 minutes," said Taylor.
