After plenty of sore muscles, aching joints and most importantly, laughs, the Lismore Masters Games will conclude on Sunday.
The Games has seen just under 1200 people compete in eight sports across three days across Lismore and the smiles and laughs have been contagious.
The Games kicked off on Friday morning, before a break for participants to enjoy the Lismore Cup in the afternoon.
The majority of round games were contested on Saturday and Sunday will see the finals take shape.
Baseball and Softball have always seen strong numbers at Albert Park and this year is no different.
Numbers are up at the Netball, with more "younger" teams taking to the Marie Mackney Courts.
The netballers have come up with some of the more thoughtful team names for the 2025 edition, with Nets Go to the Pub, Where's the Cheese Platter, We Thought There'd be Snacks, Netflix and Skill and Cirque de Sore Legs all taking to the courts.
The pick of others sports, Base Invaders (Baseball), Hookerz and Swingerz (Cricket) and I'd Hit That (Softball).
Lismore City Council staff worked quickly after the football season to have several cricket grounds ready for play, with Rec 9 and 10 and Blair Oval in action on Saturday afternoon.
Lawn Bowls created a hive of activity at the East Lismore Bowls Club and the soccer is being hosted as always at Weston Park Goonellabah.
Oztag has had the privilege of utilising Oakes Oval and Crozier Field for its competition and Hockey contested their two day competition at Hepburn Park.
Most competitions start their qualifying finals on Sunday with Softball from 8:00am, Hockey, Baseball, Football and Netball from 9:00am, Lawn Bowls and Cricket enjoying a 10:00am start and the Oztagger's will enjoy a sleep-in with a 10:45am start for Mixed and an 11:30am start for the 30's.
