Thursday, December 1 2022, for some entering the month of December sends alarm bells off in their head that Christmas is only 24 days and there is so much to do away while for others, it is a time to calmly finish off their shopping and decorations and enjoy the festivities.
Whatever category you fall into, take a moment to enjoy Lismore Delights in the CBD as it is jam-packed with some wonderful and exciting activities from today to Christmas Eve.
Lismore City Council will be launching Christmas 2022 at the Transit Centre on Molesworth Street at 1pm with a welcome to country by Aunty Jenny Smith and Lismore Mayor Steve Krieg welcoming Santa Claus to town as the new festive lights and decorations around the CBD.

From 3pm in the CBD, bring your family and friends to eat, shop and be merry with Lismore Delights.
Santa will be in his Wonderland at 46 Magellan Street (opposite the Pie Cart) and you can hunt elves who are hiding in the CBD shops.
You will be entertained by Katie Rutledge, Dean Doyle and the 'Sophistication Band' of Narelle Harris, Paul Belsham and Tina Rogers filling you with Christmas spirit.
You can Eat, Shop and Be Merry all around the Block! by screen printing your own tee or tote at the Lismore Transit Centre, there will be face painting and Roundabout Theatre’s wonderfully whimsical roving characters, The Clouds, will be there to delight families.
Welcome to late-night shopping in the CBD as many of the unique block shops stay open so you can support their efforts to reopen after February 28 as well as the many cafe's and restaurants that you can dine in on your around the block.
Come on Lismore, it's time to smell the roses, or the mistletoe, in the lead-up to Christmas.
