Italo Stars FC President Corey Byrne is excited about what lies ahead for the club after this week's announcement of a partnership between Italo Stars FC and Sydney powerhouse, Club Marconi.
“We are excited about the opportunities that this will create for the club and the area” Byrne said.
“It will give junior players more opportunities and grow our junior base at the Italo Stars FC”
The partnership with Club Marconi is great on a number of fronts, with the Sydney based group looking to improve facilities and re-energise the club.
“Community Support is critical for the partnership to work and we are very happy with what the future holds. They are not only supportive of the football but in bringing bands and entertainment back to the facilities.”
As part of the partnership, Club Marconi will be a major sponsor and will provide all players with a full kit.
Club Marconi will also provide opportunities for junior players to trial with four time NSL champions, the Marconi Stallions FC.

Marconi Stallions FC state that they are ‘proud to teach not only the love of the game, but to also impart the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and loyalty.’
"They create opportunities and pathways for their players to succeed, and this is what we are looking forward to creating for our players here at the Italo Stars FC." Byrne added.
According to Club Marconi’s website they are very excited about the partnership and to get an understanding of what they can offer the local football community. https://www.clubmarconi.com.au/
Byrne and the club are also on the hunt for new recruits in the coaching ranks as well as players in the men’s, women’s and junior divisions for the 2021 season.
