Investigations continue after 46 year old arrested at service station in Nimbin

Police are continuing to investigate an incident in Nimbin last Friday (February 23) when a man was arrested at a service station on Sibley Street at around 2:15pm.


A number of officers from Richmond Police District converged on the scene and arrested a 46-year-old man.



Superintendent Scott Tanner told the Lismore App, the man has been charged with aggravated break and enter, take and detain person, intimidation and firearm offences.


It will be alleged that a firearm was located in a vehicle driven by the man.



He was taken to Lismore Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.


A crime scene has been established at a home on Thorburn Street, Nimbin.



There are no reports of any person being injured.
