An investigation is underway following this morning's building fire at Casino overnight.


About 2.40am (Monday 29 April 2024), emergency services were called to Walker Street, Casino, following reports of a fire.



At the scene, police located a laundromat well alight, with the fire rapidly spreading to a restaurant nearby.


FRNSW firefighters extinguished the blaze; however, both buildings were destroyed.



No injuries have been reported to police as a result of the fire.


Officers attached to Richmond Police District established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the incident.



As inquiries continue, police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
