If you are itching to get your photography skills noticed, then enter your healthy living pics in the Northern NSW Local Health District photo competition.

You have until 5pm on February 5 to send in your healthy living shots in for a chance to win one of four $60 vouchers for the best photos that showcase healthy living in our region.

There are four categories:

1. Active living – pictures that showcase active lifestyles for all ages and abilities, individuals and families. 

2. Healthy eating/food – pictures that showcase healthy food, gardens etc – you can accompany your picture with a recipe if you like!

3. Aging well – pictures that showcase healthy, socially connected living over 60.

4. Healthy North Coast – pictures that showcase our region, and healthy living in our region.

By entering the photo in the completion, you give the NNSW LHD permission to use the photo for communication/promotional activities.

Competition rules

You must provide a signed photo consent signed by the person/s appearing in the photo or their guardian if they are under 18. You can download the photo consent here.

Photos must show healthy, safe and legal behaviour, including but not limited to:

a. The use of helmets when scooting/riding

b. Sun smart behaviour

The competition winners will be decided by a panel of NNSW LHD Health Promotion and Media staff, their decision is final.

NNSW LHD Health Promotion and Media staff can enter photos but are not eligible for prizes.

Individuals can enter a maximum of 10 photos.

You must indicate which category you are entering.

Photos must be taken in the NNSW LHD region which covers between the Tweed Region in the North, to Urbenville in the West, and the Grafton Region in the South.
