Local business gets new name and new central location Timmays owner Jeff Davey is looking forward to the move from South Lismore into town on Ballina Road.

With a new name and new location, Timmays Car Audio & 4wd Accessories is making sure people are going to take notice of them.

Timmays owner Jeff Davey said the business is moving from their current location in Krouch Avenue, South Lismore to a more central location in town at 27-37 Ballina Road, opposite City Hall.

“Customers were saying to us that we were hard to find, so we wanted to get better exposure - and it’s getting cramped in here,” Jeff said.

“So when the opportunity came up to move to the old City Toyota site, with it’s fantastic showroom, we took it."

Their first day of trade in the new location will be Monday, October 28.

Along with a new location, the business name will be changing to Staunch Outdoor Adventure Centre.

“We still have our core business of Adventure King outdoor leisure and supply solar and accessories for 4X4 vehicles,” Jeff said.

“We are a Stedi lights dealer and have a full range of camping accessories and can upgrade car speaker and install reverse cameras.”

Jeff said he started the car audio and 4WD business in 2015 because he had a passion for camping.

“I’ve also loved four wheel driving since I got my first 4WD when I was 20,” he said.

“Running a small business is a big commitment, and I’m looking forward to the fresh start in town.”
