Geoff Lees, who along with his wife Lyn, have run Lismore Hole In One Golf Driving Range for overs 20 years, has suffered a massive stroke and unfortunately the business is closed until further notice.

Mr Lees suffered a stroke on Saturday, January 2, and is recovering in hospital.

His son Glen, President of Marist Brothers Cricket Club, said his dad is doing well and his rehabilitation will take some time.

"As it stands, we are not sure what the future of the golf range is, other than remaining closed until Geoff, Lyn and their family work out the next step," said Glen.

Lismore Hole In One Golf Driving Range, which is on the corner of Durheim and Wyrallah roads was closed for the Christmas holidays when Mr Lees suffered his stroke. The club was scheduled to reopen on January 18.
