We know there are smart criminals and dumb criminals, this story clearly puts this guy in the dumb criminals column.
Richmond District Police will allege that on Monday a 31 year old man Victorian man was visiting Lismore when he rammed a shopping trolley into a strangers car for no apparent reason on Brewster Street.
Later in the day, police sighted the man in the Lismore Square.
When approached he would only give police his first name while not supplying any ID.
He was placed under arrest and taken to the Lismore Police Station.
This is where things became interesting.
Police found out that he has outstanding warrants for three offence in Coffs Harbour from March 2015 and four outstanding warrants in Victoria.
He was charged with Destroy Property, had the warrants executed and bail refused.
He appeared in Lismore local court where he was granted conditional bail. He is due to appear at Lismore Local Court next week.
The burning question asked is "if you have multiple warrants, why would you do something so stupid as to suddenly ram a car for no reason?" It takes all sorts.....
