ORIGINAL STORY
A house fire has broken out on Magellan Street in the Lismore CBD near Oakes Oval.
The Lismore App understands the house is well alight with two fire crews in attendance, Lismore and Coraki, trying to get the fire under control.
Firefighters have been evacuated from the house with the threat of solar panels collapsing.
Lismore App reader Mark Bailey from Lismore What's Happening is on scene and said the house was unoccupied with building material on the property such as fibro and window panels.
Half a dozen police cars have closed Magellan Street while emergency services try to extinguish the flames.
Essential Energy have cut-off power to the street so some residents maybe without electricity for some time.
