Goonellabah pair Reece Gregor, 15 wickets at 12.0 (2nd) and Josh Healy, 14 wickets at 8.0 (3rd) are a big part of the sides success this year and will hope to add to their tallies in the New Year.

For Marist Brothers, opener and captain Brendan Mitchell sits on top of the Marist Brothers wickets takers with 13 wickets at 11.0 and fourth overall.

Runs have been shared amongst a number of batsman with Brothers middle order batsman Pat Martin leading the local charge with 170 runs at an average of 56. Martin sits ninth across the LJ Hooker League Competition.

For Goonellabah, Brady Toniello (16th) has 132 at 26.0 and opener Rory McLean (19th) is on 125 at an average of 31.0.

The competition will resume in Round 6 and will be played on the 7th and 14th January, with Goonellabah Workers Sports having the bye and Marist Brothers travelling to Ballina to take on the Bears in a must win match.
