Never fear good people of Lismore, the team at our favourite Henry's Bakery Cafe on Keen St are working hard on their renovation and will be open later this month.

Owner Michael Lawson offers his assurance that they will be reopening as soon as possible despite a delay in the renovating process.

Locals seem to have missed one of their choice meeting spots for coffee and pastries and have been contacting Michael to find out when the doors will open again.

"We've had 10 calls a day asking what's happening. A customer actually suggested we contact Lismore App and let people know." Michael said.

Henry’s Bakery Cafe has been a family business since Derek Lawson, Michael's father, established the North Coast’s first hot bread shop back in 1979, at 74 Keen Street.

The business evolved and expanded to include cakes, pies and pastries, relocating to the current location in the heart of Lismore’s CBD, at 87 Keen Street, in the 1980’s.

Lismore App will let you know when Henry's is ready to welcome you back.
