The NSW Government is considering whether to phase out several plastics and wants your help to decide what the plan of action should be.
A short five minute survey has been developed to gather your feedback about the 'Cleaning Up Our Act: Redirecting the Future of Plastic in NSW' discussion paper.
The discussion paper provides details of the proposed comprehensive action plan to reduce plastic use and manage plastic waste and pollution in NSW.
Your views on the targets and priority directions proposed in the discussion paper will inform the development of the NSW Plastics Plan.
Some of the questions proposed include:
What issues will we need to address when we begin to implement and enforce the phase outs?
Do you support the target to reduce plastic litter items by 25% by 2025?
Do you support a requirement for all new plastic packaging to contain at least 30% recycled plastic by 2025?
Do you support making producers of plastic items more responsible for collecting and recycling in NSW?
