Goonellabah Workers Sports have taken the points against Alstonville in their LJ Hooker League clash at Hill Park Oval.
Resuming at 2/61, chasing 141, Goonellabah lost early wickets, with Tom Standish (35) and Mark Denmeade (22) falling early after strong knocks last week.
Nathan Bezrouchko (1), Kale Hare (4) and Kaleb Armstrong (9) all fell quickly to have GWS in trouble seven wickets down.
But it was Brady Toniello's brilliant knock of 72 that allowed the visitors to pass the total, eventually reaching 171.
Toniello was supported in the run chase by Damien Santin, who added 21 not out.
The match continued with Alstonville reaching 1/93 before the match was concluded with no second innings result in sight.
Josh Healy took the lone wicket, finishing with figures of 1/18 off six overs.
Goonellabah Workers Sports will host Cudgen next week at Oakes Oval in what will be a tough match for both sides.
