Goonellabah Workers Sports will both be looking to continue momentum into Round 4 of the LJ Hooker League competition this weekend.

Goonellabah Workers Sports defeated the strong Cudgen side last week and remain undefeated in the two day competition.

Reece Gregor was the star for the Goonellabah side last week, taking 7/31, with openers Rory McLean (52 and 26) and Andrew Kemmis (41 and 26) posting strong totals with the bat.

GWS will travel to Fripp Oval, Ballina to take on the Bears who will be looking for their first win of the season.

Weather may play a factor in the match this weekend after plenty of rain mid week, especially on the coast.

The Round 4 match will be played on Saturday and Sunday this weekend to allow for Round 5 to be played prior to the Christmas break.

The weekend forecast is not looking good, with overcast skies predicted and a chance of showers on both days.

The match is scheduled to commence at 1pm, weather and pitch conditions dependant.
