Goonellabah Workers Sports will look to put back-to-back victories together when they take on Tintenbar East Ballina on Saturday at Oakes Oval.
Goonellabah took the points last weekend in the local derby against Marist Brothers and are level with Tweed Banora Colts on top of the LJ Hooker League ladder.
The side defeated Brothers by 58 runs last week after going down by 55 runs the previous week to the Colts.
Both Tintenbar East Ballina and Goonellabah will be without key personnel, with Jack Cooper (Goonellabah) and Kai Dalli (Tintenbar) both representing North Coast in the NSW Country Championships Final in Port Macquarie on Sunday.
Last week against Brothers, the Goonellabah batting lineup was solid, with eight batsman reaching double figures in their total of 7/234.
Alec Watson and Kevin Warid both took 3 wickets each and will look to continue the strong form.
In a unique situation, Tintenbar East Ballina will field three brothers in their LJ Hooker League side, with Joe, Pierce and Harry Bull all named in the side, with Joe being the oldest of the three at just 20 years of age.
Play will start at 1:00pm at Oakes Oval.
Marist Brothers will be looking to turn around a string of three consecutive losses when they travel to Lennox Head to take on the Pirates.
Brothers have dropped to sixth on the table and will be looking for a big effort against the eighth-placed Lennox side.
Harrison Gillett has been named to return from injury and if fit, will play a key role in the Brothers bowling attack, which was expensive last week.
Israr ul Mabood holds his spot in the top order after top scoring last weekend against Goonellabah with a quickfire 44 of just 25 balls.
