Gingerbread House sails upward with new fundingKevin Hogan and children at Gingerbread House care centre.

Northern Rivers Children's Services (NCRS) has been awarded $13,500 in funding for its Gingerbread House occasional child care centre.

Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan said the funding was part of the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme.

“The funding will provide a much needed update to Gingerbread house with shade sails and soft fall for the outdoor play area and rejuvenate inside with new flooring and window coverings,” Mr Hogan said.

“Gingerbread house contributes so much to our local community, ensuring excellent care and enhancing our community as a great place to live, work and raise a family.”

The Stronger Communities Programme supports our commitment to deliver social benefits in communities and Gingerbread house provides a safe and caring environment for many children and families experiencing crisis, upheaval and trauma.
