The Far North Coast Rugby Union will attempt to host the Preliminary Finals for a second week in a row on Saturday.

The wet weather last weekend forced the Preliminary Finals to be pushed back a week, with the Grand Final forced to be played a week later, now on the 17 September.

The Lismore Rugby Club's Women's 10's and Colts will be playing for a shot at a Grand Final berth at Kingsford Smith Oval in Ballina.

The Women's side went down to Casuarina 17-0 two weeks ago in the Major Semi Final and will look to redeem themselves against the Ballina Seahorses.

Lismore finished the regular season in second spot and defeated the Ballina side three times throughout the year, but the previous wins mean nothing in the Preliminary Final.

Lismore will be hoping cousins Adriana and Sabrina Lisetto are fit to take on Ballina.

The Colts will look to overcome a mounting injury list, when they take on Casuarina on Saturday. The side was strong against Lennox Head in the Major Semi Final but will look to improve their set piece.

Lismore has a 2-1 ledger over Casuarina and will look to secure a place in next week's Grand Final and seek redemption against Lennox Head.

All matches will be played at Kingsford Smith Oval in Ballina with Colts kicking off at 12:00pm and the Women at 2:30pm prior to the First Grade Preliminary Final between Wollongbar/Alstonville and Lennox Head.
