Far North Coast Rugby is closing in on Finals and there is still plenty to play for.

Although the finalists in the First Grade competition look set, Casino and Richmond Range still have a mathematical chance of knocking out Byron Shire with just 3 rounds to play.

Both sides had victories on the weekend, with the Casino Bulls defeating the SCU Gold Rats 29-7 and Richmond Range taking down Lismore 47-27, after leading 26-10 at halftime.

Wollongbar Alstonville are all but assured of the Minor Premiership, currently leading the competition by 14 points.

The Pioneers had a tough 20-17 win over Byron Shire, with second placed Casuarina defeating Lennox Head 41-12 in Round 16.

In the rounds final match, Ballina had a close win over Evans River 29-24.
