Lismore, it’s time to make your voice heard - and tell the government your flood stories and ideas for change.
Next Tuesday, the NSW Government will hold the first Lismore public meeting of the NSW Flood Inquiry – and you can register to attend.
The meeting will be held at 5.30pm at Southern Cross University - and Lismore MP Janelle Saffin invites the Lismore community to take this important opportunity to be involved in making change.
“I encourage community members impacted by this devastating flood, and especially those directly impacted to attend if they can,” Ms Saffin said.
“I shall make sure we have people there to offer emotional support as well.
“Our stories will bring the change we are clamouring out for.
“Professor Mary O’Kane and Michael Fuller will be chairs of the inquiry and are hosting the meeting
“This is an important opportunity to make our voices heard.”
