This week the NSW Government has sent a 'Blitz Team' to Goonellabah to help residents, business owners and farmers compile and write their flood grant applications with great success.

It is not too late to book your slot to be part of the process that will speed up payment so you can get money into your bank account sooner rather than later. Call Service NSW on 13 77 88.

An NSW Government spokesperson told the Lismore App more than 430 people have made an appointment with around 100 people attending the first day of support sessions with more than $560,000 in applications approved.

The grant blitz team is offering 45-minute appointments every day this week to residents who have been affected by flooding.

Some attendees are expected to return to sessions later in the week to complete their grant applications.

All appointments are being held in the ANZAC Room at the Lismore Workers Sports Club, 202 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah until this Friday 10 June.

All applicable documentation must be brought to the appointment and workers from Service NSW, Resilience NSW, Revenue NSW and Regional NSW staff would be on hand to provide guidance and assistance across all seven available grants for individuals, households, business owners and primary producers.

For information on what to bring to your appointment visit service.nsw.gov.au.

You can make your booking by calling Service NSW on 13 77 88.
