Final SES Flood Watch brings the all clear for Lismore

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has issued a final Flood Watch Warning for Lismore and reports that renewed flooding is no longer expected for the Wilsons River today.

It's good news if you have been anxiously watching the rain, drains and rivers nearby.

The Bureau of Meterology reports that the low pressure trough weather system bringing the rain is now weakening - and even though the catchment is relatively saturated after the rainfall over the last few weeks, potential riverine flooding has been averted.

The Bureau is continuing to monitor the situation and will issue further catchment specific warnings if and when required.
