Lismore roads are having more work done than Joan Rivers had plastic surgery. The difference being, Lismore roads need the work to be completed.
Transport for NSW has advised that the final road surface seal work on the Lismore Bangalow Road will start this evening, causing changed traffic conditions.
From this evening (Monday, 3 November), work will be carried out on the Lismore Bangalow Road between the Binna Burra Flood Immunity and Hilltop Flood Immunity project areas, Binna Burra.
Work will be carried out from 6pm to 5am and is expected to be completed in two nights, weather permitting.
Single lane, alternating traffic flow arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 60km/h will be in place during and after work hours for the safety of motorists and workers.
Motorists should allow up to ten minutes’ extra travel time.
Motorists are advised to drive according to traffic conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
