With rain falling and more wet weather on the way, Football Far North Coast clubs have their fingers crossed they will be able to play matches this weekend.
Several teams will be bringing players up from lower grades this weekend with the Splendour in the Grass Festival popular among locals, but it looks like ground conditions could be the biggest issue of the Round.
Friday night sees Rovers hosting Alstonville in East Lismore in both Men's Championship and Premier Leagues. Rovers are coming off a narrow 1-0 victory over rivals Thistles and Villa took the points from Lennox Head in a forfeit last weekend.
Friday also sees Thistles Women's Premier League team travel to Lennox Head, looking for their third win of the season.
On Saturday, South Lismore and Byron Bay are both coming off strong wins and will clash at Balzer Park to gain an edge in the top four.
The Hornets and Thistles will round out the weekend in Men's Premier League at 3:00pm on Saturday at Weston Park. Thistles need a win to set their season back on track and Goonellabah need to win to stay in touch with the top four teams on the ladder.
