A woman has died in a two-vehicle crash at Goonellabah last night.

About 6pm (Friday, 8 August 2025), emergency services were called to the Bruxner Highway/Oliver Avenue roundabout at Goonellabah, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Richmond Police District attended and found a Toyota sedan and a semi-trailer had collided.

The driver of the sedan – an 82-year-old woman – was treated by police and NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, she died at the scene.

The driver of the semi-trailer – a 58-year-old man – was uninjured. He was taken to Lismore Hospital for mandatory testing.
