Detectives investigate death of woman at South Grafton

Police have commenced an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body at South Grafton earlier today.


Just before midday (Sunday, 9 November 2025), emergency services were called to a house on McNamara Avenue, South Grafton, regarding a concern for welfare report.


Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District located the body of a woman inside the house.



Following the discovery, detectives from Coffs/Clarence Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.


A crime scene has been established, which is being examined by specialist police.


The woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, is yet to be formally identified and a postmortem examination will determine the exact cause of death.
