Delays expected on Pacific Highway at Tyagarah northbound from tomorrow

People travelling north on the Pacific Highway to Ocean Shores or above can expect traffic delays from tomorrow evening (Sunday) when Transport for NSW carries out essential maintenance at Tyagarah Swamp Bridge to replace bridge joints.

To minimise the impact to motorists, work will be carried out at night from 6pm to 6am Sunday to Wednesday and is expected to be complete in four nights, weather permitting.

Northbound lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists. Motorists should allow up to five minutes extra travel time.

Oversize and overmass vehicles greater than 4.2 metres wide intending to travel through the site should call the project team on 0419 346 942 at least one and a half hours before reaching the site.

OSOM vehicles greater than 4.2 metres wide should expect short delays during this work.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

For the latest traffic updates, download the Live Traffic NSW app, visit livetraffic.com or call 132 701.
