At about 3.12pm yesterday (Wednesday, 29 May), Emergency services were called to a business in Krauss Avenue, South Lismore, following the discovery by staff at the location of a male person suffering from what appeared to be an apparent medical episode.
Upon arrival of Police, employees were already in the process of administering CPR to the male.
Police have assisted in the administration of CPR until the arrival of Ambulance Paramedics.
On arrival of NSW Ambulance Paramedics additional life saving measures were implemented.
Despite the efforts of business staff, Police and NSW Paramedics the male was unable to be resuscitated.
NSW Work Cover has been notified. A formal report into this death is currently being prepared for the NSW Coroner.
