A fire ripped through a building last night in the Alstonville Industrial Estate. NSW Fire and Rescue said:

Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to a number of Triple Zero (000) calls about smoke emanating from a building in an industrial estate in Russellton Drive at Alstonville around 10.30pm last night.

Four fire trucks and crews from Alstonville, Goonellabah and Lismore arrived on scene and prevented the fire from spreading to neighbouring properties.

Firefighters, assisted by Police and RFS at the scene, accessed the single-level warehouse and extinguished the flames.

No one was injured during the incident, and the cause of the fire is not suspicious at this stage.
