Lismore City Council is undertaking more Flood Restoration works in the CBD, beginning in May and ending in July, as they continue to replace items damaged in 2022.

These works will see a rollout of safety assets, such as bollards and tactile ground surface indicators (aka tactiles) that will also improve the look of the CBD block in line with Council's updated style guide.

Council says that once completed, these upgrades will bring benefits to both pedestrians and road users, enhancing safety and boosting the visual appeal of the Lismore CBD.

Works will progressively take place along Woodlark and Molesworth Streets between May and July, with temporary slow/start traffic operations as needed.

Around the same time, a replacement bus shelter will be constructed at John Crowther Carpark, near the corner of Dawson and Woodlark Streets.

Council warn that increased noise, dust and vibrations may be experienced during the works, though crews will do their best to minimise disruption to the community.

Specific dates, times and locations will be communicated directly to businesses and organisations in proximity to the works.
