Lismore City Council has released its road upgrades for this week, which include East Lismore, North Lismore and Goonellabah.

Council road crews will be out and about carrying out important asphalt heavy patching to improve the safety and condition of our roads.

This week's scheduled road works include:

• Tuesday, 10 June – Elizabeth Street, East Lismore
• Wednesday, 11 and Thursday, 12 June – Bridge Street and Terania Street, North Lismore
• Friday, 13 June – Holland Street, Goonellabah

Crews will be trying to minimise disruption to drivers. Make sure you follow traffic control signage and drive carefully through the work zones.

The schedule may change in the event of wet weather, although the forecast is for dry conditions at this stage.

Council has plans to close Harold Fredericks Carpark on Thursday, June 19 from 6am to 6pm for essential upgrade works.

The works include heavy patching to repair damaged pavement and improve the road surface.
