Lismore City Council has closed a section of road on Kellas Street, Lismore because of a landslip following yesterdays heavy rain.

The section of road is between the unnamed road which runs into Parkwalk Street and the entrance to Southern Cross University.

People are advised to use an alternative entrance to the university and avoid Kellas Street if you are not a resident.

In the CBD, Dawson Street is closed from Trinity College to Rural Street and Uralba Street between Dawson and Brewster Street.

Winterton Parade near Orion Street remains closed.
