Now the wet weather has paused for Lismore, Lismore City Council can get on with the job of patching and fixing the road network.

Council has said they will carry out night works on Conway Street (between Dawson Street and Keen Street) from 6pm to 6am this Wednesday, 28 and Thursday, 29 May, weather permitting.

At this stage, the likelihood of the roadworks going ahead is strong, with the BOM forecasting a mostly sunny day for Wednesday and a partly cloudy day for Thursday.

The works include asphalt heavy patching to repair damaged road travel lanes.

Conway Street will be closed to through traffic during works. Please follow detour signage and directions from traffic controllers. Minor delays may occur.

Council is asking people to avoid parking on Conway Street during the works. You may be asked to move your vehicle to allow works to proceed safely and efficiently.
