City Bikeworx closes its doors after 20 years

City Bikeworx will be closing its doors after 20 years of service to the Lismore riding community.

Operating as a Triumph, Kawasaki and Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer with quality motorcycle parts, clothing and accessories City Bikeworx also attended to other makes of motorcycle.

Their dedicated team going the extra yard to help a customer with a hard to find part, to tuning their bike for rego, to being active in the many organised rides in the community.

Staff at the iconic bike shop, which recently became home to Harley Davidson in Lismore, shared a heart-felt post about the decision three days ago.

The City Bikeworx team said that Dave Waldron, who recently passed from a ten month battle with cancer, was the 'driving force' behind the business.

"He dedicated his life to City Bikeworx and without his dedication, knowledge and experience no longer behind it, the decision was made to close," their facebook post read.

An end of an era, many loyal customers, friends, and acquaintances replied with heartfelt thanks and support for the family.

Staff said their workshop is now closed, but they are finishing all jobs that were booked in.

City Bikeworx will be holding sales throughout September to move stock and wish to thank all their customers, friends and family for all the support they've received.

City Bikeworx are located at 232 Union St, South Lismore.
