Whether it's delivering the special list straight to Santa, getting a photo for the albums, or wondering what special events are on to celebrate this year, we have got you covered!
There are two Santa photo options in the CBD.
Santa's Wonderland in Magellan Street, opposite the Pie Cart or at Lismore Square. Both are on right up until late on Xmas Eve, you can book your very own moment in Santa's Wonderland by clicking here or by scanning the QR code on the big posters out front or speaking to his friendly elves in Lismore Square.
In the Quad tonight (Thursday), The Story Tree Company will be performing 3 Kamishibai stories (Japanese Paper Theatre) from 5pm - 5:30pm, on behalf of the Lismore Library: Three Magic Paper Charms, The Cracked Pot and The Magic Rice Paddle.
According to their social media post "There will be quite a bit of magic going on. The stories work for any age above tiny tots, ideally, families with 4 - 11yrs but also the young at heart of any age, do come along, it will be fun!"
Lismore City Council has put together a list of action-packed activities in town tonight, see the flyer, courtesy of Lismore CWA Day Branch or read yesterday's story Last days for Lismore Delights: check out what's on this Thursday.
Xmas lights are something many of us love to see, with ooh's and aah's from the back seat, and so far this year we know for sure that the following locations have gone all out:
Alstonville: Avalon Ave, Perradenya Way and other nearby streets in Caniaba is definitely worth the drive as well as the masterpiece that Bruce and Bev Supple put up at Grevillea Grove, Goonellabah (plus surrounding streets). It is always spectacular and this year is no different so make a visit for Bruce and Bev's last year of amazing Christmas lights.
Check out the Christmas Lights button in the Lismore App for more options Lights. We use geolocation so the lights nearest you will appear at the top of the list.
Feel free to add a new location if we have missed it by emailing content@lismoreapp.com.au and we will add to the list as they come in.
Christmas Eve Carnival at Bangalow looks set to be a fun night out also with a gold coin donation for entry to the Carnival, located at Bangalow Showgrounds from 4pm to 8:30pm, with fireworks, face painting, entertainment, food and drinks and Santa himself.
Christmas Day is three days away and counting with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a shower or two and a top of 29 degrees for the 25th. However, those showers will be very light with only 1mm expected at most.
